France: Programme Solidarité Eau
pS-Eau promotes dialogue between international aid stakeholders (NGOs, public authorities, local governments, private sector, research, etc.) in the field of water and sanitation, and contributes to the elaboration of shared methodology references. It coordinates working groups and research-action programmes, and publishes a newsletter and summary documents.
pS-Eau contributes to and develops activites in the following concerns:
- water supply and sanitation in developing countries
- improving access to water (sources, wells, reservoirs and distribution)
- development policies in relation to civil society
- facilitating economic activities of emigrants in their home countries
