The purpose of this desk-study is to provide information and recommendations for the SPLASH project on “improving the communication channels through which water research, policy making and practice interact.” The focus is on communication processes for improving the utilization of research results.

In the report, international organizations, networks and initiatives of water sector for the developing world and those based in Europe, Asia and Africa are collated into an information source of networks relating to EUWI and European water research. In the report, a total of 48 organizations, networks and initiatives are presented as summaries.

En el marco de la X Conferencia de Directores Iberoamericanos del Agua (CODIA) que tuvo lugar en Madrid, se celebraron el Seminario Género y Agua (29 de junio de 2009 ), organizado conjuntamente con la Secretaría general Iberoamericana (SEGIB), la II Reunión del Comité Técnico Intergubernamental del Programa Iberoamericano del Agua (30 de junio), la IV Reunión del Panel Técnico de Apoyo -PTA- (30 de junio), y por último, la Conferencia porpiamente dicha (1 de julio).

ACP-EU Water facility results- "More than Water" video

To celebrate World Water Day 2012, the European Commission releases the video "More than Water" which shows concrete results of the EU-ACP Water Facility to provide access to drinking water in the Himba villages in the north of Namibia.
